Arsene Wenger loses four successive Premier League away games in a row for first time as Arsenal are smashed by Crystal Palace

Arsene Wenger has lost four successive Premier League away games for the first time in his managerial career after a miserable defeat to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

The French tactician could only watch on as his side went 3-0 down to Sam Allardyce’s men, with goals from Andros Townsend, Yohan Cabaye and Luka Milivojevic putting Arsenal to the sword.
And having lost to West Bromwich Albion, Liverpool and Chelsea in their last three trips away from the Emirates, a lacklustre performance ensured there was a fourth for good measure.

The result will no doubt crank the heat up on Wenger, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
Arsenal are now sat seven points behind Manchester City in fourth place, although they do have a game in hand, with qualification for the Champions League looking more and more improbable with just eight games to play.
