Arsenal clear to sign Riyad Mahrez as Leicester City winger decides to leave the Foxes

Arsenal’s hopes of signing Riyad Mahrez this summer have been given a significant boost after the Leicester City winger reportedly decided to leave the Foxes.
Claudio Ranieri urged his squad to stick together for one more year after becoming title winners for the first time in the club’s 128-year history in May.
However, Arsenal have already activated Jamie Vardy’s release clause and the Gunners hope to sign the forward before the start of Euro 2016.
Mahrez was the pick of the bunch as the Foxes won the title and was awarded the PFA player of the year award for his incredible dispalys.

The Algerian signed a new contract with Leicester last summer but, according to Goal, he has decided to leave the club this summer.
Reports this morning claimed Arsenal had entered talks with the 25-year-old and the news that he’s ready to quit the King Power stadium will be a boost for Wenger’s side.
