Manchester City plan transfer swoops for Arsenal's Jack Wilshere and Alexis Sanchez and Tottenham star Danny Rose

Incoming boss Pep Guardiola has ambitious plans to shake up a squad that has underachieved this season as it grows old with a splurge of summer signings

Pep Guardiola is planning a double raid on Arsenal for Jack Wilshere AND Alexis Sanchez.

The incoming Manchester City boss wants to build his midfield around Gunners playmaker Wilshere and also covets their brilliant Chilean forward Sanchez .

Sunday Mirror Sport understands that Tottenham left-back Danny Rose is also on City’s radar, as the Etihad club look to boost their quota of ‘homegrown’ players to meet UEFA regulations.

Wilshere has endured another season ravaged by injury and is hoping that he has done enough to be included in Roy Hodgson’s England squad for the Euros that will be named on Monday.

But Guardiola - who led Bayern Munich for the final time on Saturday before his summer move to England - is a long-term admirer, and City were also weighing up a bid for the £40million-rated 24-year-old this time last year .
