The suspect, Wasiu Akinwade, a.k.a Oloriesho, it was gathered, led the hoodlums that shot the young man, in the head, as he was busy reading for his West Africa School Certificate Examination in his grandmother’s shop.
While parading the suspect, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni , described Wasiu Akinwade as “the kingpin of a criminal gang that has been terrorising Mushin, Oshodi and its environs and has been involved in the murder of several persons in the past.” Suspect’s account Denying the allegation, Wasiu Akinwade said: “If two factions are fighting, there will be allegations here and there.
